Where I Traveled in 2018 & My Favorite Photos
2018 has been one of the biggest travel years of my life yet. This year, I became both a Getty Images Photographer and a Lonely Planet Travel Pathfinder, plus I was able to become a full-time travel writer, which meant I could travel for nearly half of the year, which still doesn’t seem real to me. 2018 was the year I finally visited Mexico City, Tulum, Querétaro, Cobá, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Malibu, West Hollywood, Anaheim & Disneyland, Laguna Beach, Irvine, Carmel, Chicago, Toronto, Niagara Falls. I explored more places in my home state of Michigan, like Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Birmingham, and Walloon Village. I was able to return to some of my favorite places around Michigan, such as Holland for the Tulip Time Festival, Mackinac Island and Grand Hotel, and several other towns and villages like Leland, Isle Royale, and Marquette.

I went to Niagara Falls in the winter almost a decade ago and it was gorgeous. I’d love to do a summertime visit. Your photos are amazing.
