Tulum, Mexico is one of my favorite places we’ve ever visited. I loved exploring the jungle, the beaches, and the bustling downtown shopping district while we were in this eco-chic paradise. While in Tulum, we stayed at Sanará, Azulik, and Zamna, three very different hotel experiences. Azulik is a luxury boutique hotel that doesn’t allow guests to take photos within its walls, Sanará has a holistic wellness focus, and Zamna had overwater bungalow on a private cenote. While we were in Tulum, we of course spent lots of time at the beach, since both Sanará and Azulik were on the water, and I had a lot of fun styling my various swimsuits to match the bright colors of the Yucatan Peninsula. Here’s what I wore to the beach in Tulum.
What I Wore to the Beach in Tulum
I found some really great deals on swimwear, wraps, and basket bags online before my trip, which ended up being the basis of my beach uniforms while in Tulum! You can check out my post about 500 basket bags under $100 here, and shop my inexpensive beach looks below.

This swimsuit I’m wearing here comes in 3 colors and runs a size big. I’m wearing the x-small here and I’m 5’7″, but since I was at the beach, I didn’t mind that it was a bit short. I wrapped myself in a cool pareo, and carried my essentials like our hotel keys, wallet, and phone in my basket bag.
