One of my favorite things about Grand Hotel is how excellent the food consistently is. I’ve never had a single bad dish here, and everything looks almost as wonderful as it tastes. I wanted to share some food highlights from our most recent visit and show you what we ate at Grand Hotel. I get hungry just thinking about how great everything we ate here was, and though I didn’t photograph it all, it was all 10/10!
Our first breakfast was simple: smoked salmon, an omelet with cheese, chives, and mushrooms, fried potatoes, a gluten-free muffin, and fruit. Excellent!

We had a gluten-free afternoon during our stay too. You can read the full review! My husband doesn’t have the same allergy I do, but he often eats in solidarity with me, even though it doesn’t bother me if other people eat regular food around me. He’s too sweet, but I think he secretly likes eating super dry bread hehe. This was NOT at all. This was super delicious, and everything was great, but it’s no secret that gluten-free options don’t always taste great. Thankfully, this is never a concern at Grand Hotel or any other places I’ve eaten on Mackinac Island, making it an excellent gf destination!
