How to Get to West Hollywood
West Hollywood is about an hour and a half away from the heart of downtown Los Angeles and LAX airport.
Getting Around West Hollywood
West Hollywood is only 1.9 square miles, so it’s much smaller than most cities. Since it’s so small, it’s easiest to just be dropped off by an Uber or park your car and walk around. This will also give you flexibility to go where you want without worrying about parking. If you do decide to park, parking is between $1.50 and $4.50 per hour, which is a lot less than most places near Los Angeles!
Where to Stay in West Hollywood
There are a number of beautiful hotels in West Hollywood, and in nearby Beverly Hills, but if you ask me, a trip to West Hollywood is the perfect excuse to live like a celebrity and stay somewhere luxurious. The Beverly Hills Hotel, Montage Hotel Beverly Hills, and The Peninsula Hotel West Hollywood are some of the most beautiful and luxurious hotels in the area, and have excellent staff, plus great locations that make walking or driving in the area as easy as can be.
Plus, it’s rumoured that this is where celebrities like to stay when they visit the area, so if you stay at one of these, you might just see your favorite pop singer or reality TV star in the hotel lobby.

I’m possibly going to Los Angeles in February!
I hope you have an amazing time, Audrey! It’s such a gorgeous city. What’re you most excited to see and do while you’re there?
Is it an expensive area?
It depends. I would say the food is the same price as anywhere in Los Angeles, however the higher end shopping and luxury hotels in the area will be more costly, of course.
