I recently visited the SoNo Collection in Norwalk, Connecticut, for the first time. I had such a fantastic day shopping their new warm-weather arrivals, exploring their art installations, and eating at their fabulous restaurants, all while getting my steps in simultaneously. It was much bigger than I’d imagined, full of my favorite shops like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Arhaus, Pandora, WHBM, Chico’s, and J. Jill. Read on to find out why I immensely enjoyed visiting the SoNo Collection!
Stores at SoNo Collection
There are so many great stores at SoNo Collection that I could spend an entire weekend shopping here. It’s such a massive draw to the area, and spending a whole day here wasn’t enough time. I visited Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s, each of which has a ton of unique brands like Farm Rio, Gucci, Ferragamo, Jimmy Choo, Choé, Stella McCartney, Theory, and so many more excellent brands. That’s not even getting into their men’s, children’s, or beauty departments!

I also visited Arhaus, Pandora, WHBM, Chico’s, J. Jill, L’Occitane, Sephora, Soma, Swarovski, Talbots, Warby Parker, and the Apple Store. The stores here were some of the cleanest and most nicely organized I’ve ever been to, which made shopping here even more pleasant. I really enjoyed exploring all of the new summer arrivals and the bright color palettes were so refreshing and vibrant everywhere we went.

Art
The SoNo Collection has a number of fun, vibrant art installations all over the premises that make for unique backdrops for photos. So, if you snag a new outfit (or three!) there and want to snap a photo in one of your new outfits or want to commemorate a visit with loved ones, there are so many great places to do so. I particularly liked the neon signs, bright murals, and 3D art installations outside. These art installations constantly change, so check back often to see what’s new!

Restaurants & Dining
I’m used to having a difficult time finding something to eat when I go out. I cannot eat gluten and I do not eat meat, though I do eat eat seafood and fish. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find so many things I could eat at the SoNo Collection, like gluten-free sushi, pho, and gluten-free noodle soups. There are seven different places to eat on site, and I’d love to try all of them someday.
Exercise
One of the best parts of shopping is getting my steps in. This three story shopping complex has 725,000 square feet of shopping space plus a garden and three atriums. It’s a great place to get stepping while scoring some great, stylish deals. During our visit, I more than exceeded my 10,000 step goal for the day. I think it’s a great place to get some exercise in, especially when the weather isn’t great like it’s been lately with all of this rain or in the winter.
