Tuckernuck Royal Shirt Dress

The Tuckernuck Royal Shirt Dress has been a staple piece in my wardrobe for years. The style is made into numerous new prints each season, which means the one I’m wearing here is just one of many! I have this same dress in blue and white stripe, antelope print, tartan, and several solid neutrals. There’s also a beautiful green and white botanical print I have my eyes on. One of the reasons I love this dress so much iss that it can be dressed up with a blazer and wedges or dressed down on its own with sandals. Here I’ll share with you the fit, sizing, and more reasons why this dress is perfect not only for traveling due to its versatility, but for everyday wear too!

This dress comes in a few different materials. The one I’m wearing has no stretch, but it is oversized, so I sized down one size from my normal Tuckernuck size. I have a few of the stretch dresses, and I find those are more fitted so I buy my normal size. if you’re looking for a looser fit with the stretch styles, or if you have a larger bust, consider sizing up. I’m 5’7 and this dress hits just above my knees, making it the perfect lengt. Although, if the hem is too long for your taste, or if you’re on the shorter side, it could easily be taken up.

Overall, this dress is one of my favorite styles, and this floral print is one of my favorites. Its perfect for keeping the sun off my sensitive skin, it can be worn in numerous different ways so I always take one with me on my travels, and it’s very wrinkle resistant, which is another huge plus in my book. Not only are these comfortable, easy to pack, and available in plenty of colors, but they’re also very well made. I’ve washed and worn this numerous times and it’s held up splendidly. The colors haven’t faded in the slightest, the fabric still looks gorgeous, and like everything else from Tuckernuck, this is a style that will always be in style.
