Skin is by far my favorite loungewear brand I’ve ever worn. In fact, more and more of my closet is being taken over by this luxurious, woman-owned clothing brand that features sustainable manufacturing practices, favors organic textiles, and is all-around far more ethical and eco-friendly than most brands. That’s why I’m usually wearing at least one of their garments. When I pack, I make sure to take the comforts of home with me by packing a few key skin pieces. On my recent visit to Arizona, I brought along a few of my favorite Skin pieces, including the Clio reversible bralette and the Ramona Caftan, which ended up being the perfect thing to wear when the temperatures soared into the triple digits.

This cool, comfortable Ramona Caftan by Skin was light, breezy, and perfect for wearing around the hot desert. The ribbed knit was lightweight but not sheer, and this versatile piece easily took me from desert to town to pool and beyond during our visit. I love how many different ways this can be worn, whether as a dress, cover-up, or layering piece, packing this on my trip saved me plenty of room in my luggage thanks to its ability to play so many different roles.
Like everything else from Skin, this caftan was breathable, ultra-soft, and very well made. I have items from Skin that are several years old, washed and worn dozens of times, and they still look brand new. No other brand’s quality comes even close to Skin’s comfort, durability, and easy-to-wear-it-ness. That’s why it will always be one of my very favorite brands.
On our trip, other travelers asked me several times where I bought this, so I think I will have to start carrying around their business cards or something (or my own) and direct them to the brand because it really is that fantastic! If I could only pick one brand to wear for the rest of my life, it would certainly be Skin! Skin, if you need an official ambassador, I’m your gal!
