The Prettiest Hotel Pools in the United States
There’s nothing quite like lounging by a beautiful pool on vacation. Maybe it’s the sense of peace. It may be the knowledge that you can completely relax and unwind. No matter what draws you to the hotel pool, it’s extra special when it looks better than you’d hoped. Here are seven of the prettiest hotel pools in the United States.
Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, MI
Recently modeled, Grand Hotel, one of my favorite hotels in the world, is home to my favorite pool. There’s an adult-only pool that overlooks the Straits of Mackinac and the beautiful Mackinac Bridge. There’s a water slide, a play area for children, hot tubs, and a massive pool perfect for all skill levels. It’s never too busy, it’s always pristine, and the view is unmatched. I’ve yet to find another pool I love swimming and lounging in more than this!

St. Regis Atlanta
A close second to my favorite hotels and certainly one of the prettiest hotel pools in the United States, St. Regis Atlanta‘s pool deck is an oasis in the city. It’s so private and serene it’s like stepping into another world. We had it all to ourselves during our visit last year, and I still think about our time here fondly. There’s a waterfall, a hot tub, and cozy lounge chairs. Plus, the pool deck has a cabana bar and attendants to bring you any drink you desire, from an artisanal handmade cocktail to a freshly cracked coconut!

Wildflower Farms
Wildflower Farms, an Auberge Resort located in Hudson Valley, is another strong contender for the prettiest hotel pool indoors and out. The mountain views and splendid atmosphere make it the perfect place to kick back and relax poolside or swim laps.

Balance Rock Inn
The views from Balance Rock Inn‘s pool alone make it worth visiting. Overlooking Frenchman Bay and the Porcupine Mountains, the views from this delightful inn’s pool are simply splendid. Despite the cold, we spent a lot of time poolside here, merely enjoying the view.

Waldorf Astoria Orlando
Waldorf Astoria hotels are famous for their prettiest pool decks, but Waldorf Astoria Orlando’s is in another league entirely. Their poolside restaurant Aquamarine is one of the best hotel pool restaurants I’ve encountered. Reserve a private cabana for an extra special experience.
Four Seasons Seattle
Overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, as well as Elliott Bay, Bainbridge Island, and Seattle’s famous ferries, the views are fantastic from Four Season Seattle’s pool. This infinity pool is truly magical once the sun sets on a clear night, particularly as the sun sets.

Hotel Walloon
This darling inn in an off-the-beaten-path village in Michigan boasts one of Michigan’s prettiest hotel pools. Hotel Walloon in Northern Michigan is one of my favorite hotels in the state, so if you find yourself “Up North,” check it out! The marina and Walloon Lake are visible from the pool and hot tub. Plus, at night, you have a great chance of seeing shooting stars if it’s clear!
