San Diego Hat Company Hat, Clara the Label Dress, Julie Vos Necklace, Julie Vos Bracelets (1, 2, 3), Gold Star Earrings, Palm Beach Sandals, T3 Curling Iron

I wore my usual size in this and found it was perfectly loose, flowy, and comfortable, especially in the high heat of San Diego, California, where I spent a week exploring recently. I’ve been traveling nonstop for the past month, and my new Clara the Label dresses have been the perfect companions for my adventures, from sightseeing to dinner out. I’ve received many compliments and a seat upgrade on our flight for dressing nicer than the standard airport uniform of athleisure wear. I’m not saying wearing one of these dresses is guaranteed to get you an upgrade on your next flight, but I’m also saying it probably can’t hurt!
The fabric is lightweight yet not sheer, and it’s perfectly soft. They wash well, and a steamer quickly removes unwanted wrinkles. I’m hooked on these dresses and have been wearing them so often that even my husband knows their names now, haha.

Dressing this one up was as simple as switching my sandals out for a pair of wedges, ditching my straw hat, and adding more jewelry! I’ve worn these dresses to the beach, on a plane, at the grocery store, and everywhere in between, and they’ve become a closet staple for me. Plus, they’re so great to travel with that packing is a breeze because I know I only need a few dresses and the accessories to go with them, plus my other essentials, and boom – packing is done!
Stay tuned for more of what I wore in San Diego and how we ate our way through some of California’s best Japanese restaurants, including a few Michelin Star eateries. I always have so much fun visiting California; everyone we encounter is friendly and happy. It must be from all of the beautiful weather. It was cooler here than on the East Coast during our stay, which was a major relief from the crazy heat wave we’ve experienced that’s done a number on my garden. It was a great trip, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
