Wearing white in the summertime is such a crisp, clean look. I particularly love dresses with many white eyelet layers because they add elegance and timelessness to any silhouette. This fun mini dress combines several of my favorite aspects of a good dress, like eyelets, ruffles, layers, and scallop details. White Tennis Dress for Spring
This spring, I’ve been wearing lots of white, even when working out. After my tennis lessons, I headed to a local flower shop to pick up these beautiful soft pink peonies, and I loved how easy it was to move from working out to running errands in this comfortable white tennis dress for spring. I love pretty dresses, particularly when they’re pink with a floral print. It’s even better when they’re sustainably handmade of organic cotton! This Monsoon & Beyond Dress is precisely that. This soft, easy-to-wear dress with full sleeves and an asymmetrical scoop hem is something I wore on our recent visit to Atlanta, GA, during our tour of the Atlanta Botanical Garden. I received many compliments on it, ranging from a Southern bell to a woodland fairy princess, the latter of which is essentially the best compliment I could have ever received!
White Tieks for Spring
Something about wearing white shoes as the weather warms up does something amazing for my mental health. I feel like everything becomes brighter this time of year, including my footwear, and I love getting dressed in clothing made for warmer weather. I think tie-shoulder dresses are my favorite style of dresses, because they are so comfortable, easy to throw on, and they look effortlessly put together. This beautiful tie-shoulder dress from Juliet Dunn is a floral-print cotton-voile dream in bright pinks and greens against a crisp, cool white which makes it easy to throw on for warmer weather. I wore this in Charleston to lunch and shopping at the Charleston Place shops on our second day, and I was simply smitten with how much fun this dress was to wear.
