Orlando, Florida is one place I look forward to visiting every few years. It’s where Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando are located, plus it’s home to some of the very best fine dining, shopping, and hotels in all of Florida, making it the perfect place for travelers who are looking for something a bit different. I hope this guide helps you fall in love with the Orlando area, just like I have.
Bull & Bear at Waldorf Astoria Orlando
Bull & Bear located inside of Waldorf Astoria, is where Robin and I had dinner during our second night at the hotel. The restaurant is spacious yet cozy, inviting and luxurious, all at once. Voted one of the top 100 restaurants in the United States as well as the best restaurant, best food, and the best service in Orlando by Trip Advisor reviewers, it’s clear why we wanted to check it out for ourselves!
Waldorf Astoria Spa: Luxury Spas of the World
During our recent stay at Waldorf Astoria Orlando, I had the most blissful time at their spa, Waldorf Astoria Spa, where I received a Hot Himalayan Salt Stone Massage, which was one of the very best massages I’ve ever had. The spa’s atmosphere was tranquil and felt like my own private oasis, because despite its massive size with more than 30 private treatment rooms, I never saw or heard another soul, except for my incredible massage therapist, Theresa. Here’s why I would book a trip back to Orlando, Florida just to spend a day at Waldorf Astoria Spa.
Waldorf Astoria Orlando: 5-Star Luxury Hotels of the World
Our time at Waldorf Astoria Orlando was one of our favorite hotel stays we’ve enjoyed anywhere in the world. While Waldorf hotels are synonymous with impeccable service, stunning surroundings, and the best amenities money can buy, all in the most desirable locations around the world, the staff of Waldorf Astoria Orlando went above and beyond at every single turn to make our week in Orlando, Florida, time at the Walt Disney World parks, and the celebration of our two best friend’s engagement, a truly special occasion.
Aquamarine at Waldorf Astoria Orlando
Aquamarine, Waldorf Astoria’s poolside café in Orlando, Florida was one of my favorite places we ate during our time in Florida. The food was exceptionally delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal after taking a wonderful midday swim in the hotel’s spacious, palm-tree encircled pooled. Stepping into the covered stone café was the perfect way to cool off, relax, and enjoy some of the best seafood and drinks we had on our escape to Florida.
Golfing at Waldorf Astoria Orlando Golf Club
I love golfing, even though I’m not great at it, and it’s something my husband and I love doing together (he’s much better at it than I am!). After our move to Connecticut, I’m hoping to find somewhere nearby to take golf lessons, but until then, I wanted to get back out on the greens during our most recent visit to Orlando, Florida. The Waldorf Astoria Orlando Golf Club was the perfect place to reconnect with the fairways and get back into the groove of golfing after more than a year of not playing, and this gorgeous, luxurious golf course didn’t disappoint.
