Holland is one of my favorite cities in the Midwest, because it is on Lake Michigan, it’s home to my favorite Michigan festival, the Tulip Time Festival, which sees about 7 million tulips bloom each year in May, and it has consistently been ranked as one of the happiest towns in the United States. Famous all over North America for their stunning flower festival, unique red light house, incredible lake views, and breathtaking sunsets, Holland is a lovely place to visit during any Midwest trip.

The Luxury Guide to Tulip Time Festival in Holland
Tulip Time is a lovely festival that takes place each spring in Holland, which celebrates Dutch heritage, Dutch dancing, Dutch fashion, and of course iconic Dutch tulips. Millions of tulip bulbs are planted every fall by volunteers and city staff, and they burst into colorful bloom late April to early May, just in time for, well, Tulip Time!
