This ramen shop has everything from bao buns and yakiniku skewers to tempura, and of course has dozens and dozens of ways to customize ramen from making it totally vegan to packed full of eggs and meat with extra noodles.

Voted the “Most Beautiful Place in the United States”, this Northern Michigan gem is an iconic nature preserve that reminds visitors how powerful and impressive the transformative powers of nature truly are. We had an exceptional time hiking, swimming, and exploring this beautiful nature preserve, and I’m sharing with you my tips for having a fun and safe time at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

S2S Sugar 2 Salt is my absolute favorite brunch spot in Northern Michigan, because they serve locally and ethically sourced seasonal ingredients, which supports local farmers and fishers. It’s wonderful to know exactly where each ingredient on the menu comes from, and knowing that each item on my plate was harvested as recently as that same morning means I can feel great about eating there and supporting small scale, low-impact farmers and growers. This restaurant offers so many plant based options and substations, you’ll be addicted to it like I am in no time.
