Today I’m showing you how I pack my cosmetics for roadtrips and when I have to fly, so that nothing spills, breaks, or is confiscated by the TSA. It’s never a good start to a trip to have oversized toiletries taken from you before you’ve even left, or arriving and realizing your toothpaste exploded all over your favorite dress, so to prevent having to scramble to replace cosmetics and toiletries at your destination or try to find clean clothes, use these tips to save yourself lots of time, money and energy.

My Autumn Travel Essentials
I love to pack versatile, easy to wear pieces so I can transition from situation to situation easily, whether I’m popping into a café after site seeing, walking through gardens in the rain, or walking all day while exploring somewhere new, I like to pack with a certain color palette depending upon my destination or the season, or both, so that I can easily mix and match pieces with little effort. My Autumn Travel Essentials reflect this, and I generally wear browns, caramel colors, tobacco leather, and creams, because these pieces can all be easily rearranged to make numerous different outfits, which means I can pack less and get more out of my capsule wardrobe.
Breakfast in Bed
During our anniversary trip to Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, we enjoyed a gorgeously slow start to our otherwise adventure filled day, by having breakfast in bed. A Chic Carry-on to Carry Around
This is my favorite carry-on luggage, not only because it’s so beautiful, but because it’s the perfect size to hold everything I need without any wasted space, which means I can pack light for a quick trip, or pack the essentials during a long-haul flight. This chic black leather suitcase is made of Japanese fiberboard & leather has a gorgeously regal navy and subtle purple botanical print on the inside, which makes the process of packing and unpacking simply joyful. I hope we are all able to get back to exploring the world and learning more about one another, in style, as soon as possible.
