Isn’t it funny how wearing a nice outfit can turn an entire day around? Whenever I wear something by Julie Vos or LoveShackFancy, my days tend to get better. It makes sense. When I look better, I feel better, and wearing things I like is almost like putting on armor that makes whatever happens on any given day that much easier to deal with. This white eyelet LoveShackFancy dress is one of my current favorites, and even though summer is coming to a close, that hasn’t stopped me from pulling it out. Stay tuned for how I style it for autumn!
Orange Eyelet Dress for Autumn
When I found this beautiful orange eyelet dress by Jude Connally, I knew I needed to add it to my wardrobe. I recently had my “colors done,” and I learned I’m a “true spring,” which means that colors like oranges, greens, pinks, blues, and creams look best on me. While I don’t plan to pigeonhole myself into these colors, it did make me realize that I didn’t own anything orange until I got this dress!
One Bag, Four Ways to Wear
I’ve written quite a bit about my Senreve bags (like here and here) because they’re so stylish, versatile, and available in so many different colors. They’re from a woman-owned company, handmade and beautifully constructed to be weather-proof, and I’ve had Senreve bags for years – they still look brand new! Now, I want to share with you one of my all-time favorite styles, the midi-maestra convertible backpack. It’s one bag that can be worn four ways! I’m wearing the Arctic Midi-Maestra and Santorini Lunettes Case.
Summer Essentials Vol. 10
These lush, rich greens were some of my favorite end-of-summer finds. Nothing says warm weather like rich garden hues. These stripes, floral patterns, deep greens, and delicate accessories make for great statement pieces for summer and autumn or can easily be incorporated into other outfits with rich forest hues. I hope you like them!
Summer Essentials Vol. 9
Summer Essentials Volume 9 features lots of rich citrusy hues perfect for transitioning from summer to autumn. These vibrant hues were inspired by our recent fruit haul from a friend and the colors of sunsets I’ve seen lately. Featuring some of my favorite summertime brands for bright colors, eyelets, and bold, timeless patterns. I hope these fun finds help you enrich your wardrobe for the last rays of summer sunshine.
Summer Essentials Volume 8
I love these summer essentials in volume 8. Mixing cool, crisp whites, woven accessories, distressed denim pieces, and elegant, museum-quality gold jewelry makes getting dressed and looking put together effortless. I’ve been reaching for white eyelet pieces and white sunglasses more frequently as the temperatures balance out. Pairing these with timeless gold pieces like these elevate the looks I create and garner plenty of compliments when I wear these too! What are your go-to summer staples? I hope you enjoy exploring mine!
Pink and Blue Tie Shoulder Maxi Dress
This playful pink and blue tie shoulder maxi dress is a lightweight cotton, yet so colorful and easy to wear. These delicious colors scream sunshine and warmth, and even looking at this hanging in my closet makes me want to head outside, grab a cool drink, and enjoy the beautiful weather! Is it warm where you are or way too hot? The heat has finally let up and I’m so thankful for a respite. I thought I was going to melt!
Neon Pink Mini Dress
This neon pink mini dress is so fun and flirty, and I love how bright this color is. It’s a hue I’ve been wearing a lot more often this summer, and I’m so glad to see the popularity of pink surging. Here’s how I styled this tiered mini dress and why I loved wearing it!
Birds of a Feather
This outfit truly felt like summer. Bold colors, pretty gold jewelry with pearl and embellished accents, a basket bag, and sandals. It all felt so warm and cheerful, which is what I love wearing in warm weather – clothes that make me happy. I’m especially fond of tie-shoulder dresses because not only do I really like bows, I like how easy to wear and unique they are. Tofe’s a limited time oof year when it’s warm enough to wear them, and it’s always something I eagerly anticipate. Now that summer is here, I’m not putting away my colorful, bold clothing anytime soon!
White Eyelet Layers
Wearing white in the summertime is such a crisp, clean look. I particularly love dresses with many white eyelet layers because they add elegance and timelessness to any silhouette. This fun mini dress combines several of my favorite aspects of a good dress, like eyelets, ruffles, layers, and scallop details. Since it’s all the same color, it’s simpler and more understated, which makes it feel sophisticated yet easy to throw on and go.
Blue and White Floral Print Dress
Summertime is such a wonderful time of year. I’m definitely enjoying it more now that this horrible heat wave is finally giving us a break and easing up on the triple-digit temperatures. I’ve been wearing my Clara the Label dresses on repeat (use code WELCOME25 for 25% off!), and they’re exceptionally comfortable, whether it’s 100 or 70. Did I mention they’re Victoria Dunn’s sister label? This blue and white floral print mini dress has been one of my favorites, and one I’ve worn a few times since getting it a couple of weeks ago.
