When I found this beautiful orange eyelet dress by Jude Connally, I knew I needed to add it to my wardrobe. I recently had my “colors done,” and I learned I’m a “true spring,” which means that colors like oranges, greens, pinks, blues, and creams look best on me. While I don’t plan to pigeonhole myself into these colors, it did make me realize that I didn’t own anything orange until I got this dress!

These delicious colors scream sunshine and warmth, and even looking at this hanging in my closet makes me want to head outside, grab a cool drink, and enjoy the beautiful weather! Is it warm where you are or way too hot? The heat has finally let up and I’m so thankful for a respite. I thought I was going to melt!

This outfit truly felt like summer. Bold colors, pretty gold jewelry with pearl and embellished accents, a basket bag, and sandals. It all felt so warm and cheerful, which is what I love wearing in warm weather – clothes that make me happy. I’m especially fond of tie-shoulder dresses because not only do I really like bows, I like how easy to wear and unique they are. Tofe’s a limited time oof year when it’s warm enough to wear them, and it’s always something I eagerly anticipate. Now that summer is here, I’m not putting away my colorful, bold clothing anytime soon!
