While this isn’t necessarily “fine dining” in the traditional sense, this dining was so fine I couldn’t help but shout about this from the rooftops. I used to work in a Mexican restaurant when I was in high school, and I have always loved Mexican food in all of the shades of authenticity that exist in the United States. While American-Mexican food is a category all its own, Taquerio in Mystic, CT, is a fantastic blend of traditional and inventive, and they have lots of great gluten-free options. If you’re craving something deliciously south of the border, check out this awesome gas station-turned-Mexican restaurant!
Brunch at Azur Café Paris
One of my favorite eco-friendly vegan cafés we landed upon in France was Azur Café Paris. They had an extensive menu of beautifully plated, carefully handcrafted, and considerately locally sourced hyper-seasonal fare that enticed all five senses. Check out the expertly prepared meals we enjoyed, and be inspired for your next visit to Champs Élysées. Ranked in the top 150 out of more than 15,000 restaurants in Paris on TripAdvisor and Google Reviews, you’ll quickly see why this delightful eatery is so highly acclaimed.

Summer House Santa Monica | Chicago
Summer House Santa Monica is a breezy, light-filled, California-inspired dining spot in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. We had the best brunch there on our last day in the Windy City, and it was a fantastic experience. Here’s why we loved this gorgeous, culinary destination that’s perfectly laid back, completely Instagrammable, and very allergy-friendly.
Afternoon Tea at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island
Afternoon Tea at Grand Hotel is one of Mackinac Island’s most iconic activities, and something that both guests and visitors alike can partake in daily from 3:30pm – 5:30pm in the hotel’s sitting room or on the World’s longest porch, overlooking the Straits of Mackinac. This tradition has existed for more than a century, and is something every visitor to the island needs to do at least once.

Chuc’s Café | South Kensington
Inspired by world famous photographer Slim Aaron, and summers aboard a yacht in the Mediterranean, Chuc’s Café in Kensington is a gorgeous vignette of summer memories, adventure, and bold colors. This gorgeous café was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of London’s South Kensington District, where we stayed at the Kensington Hotel, and took us right back to our adventures in Italy, not so long ago. The blue and white color scheme, the beautiful miniature orange trees, and the freshly imported Italian ingredients were a delight we won’t soon forget.
My 9 Favorite Moon Juice Supplements & How I Use Them
I want to start off by saying this post is not sponsored, and I am not a nutritionist; I’m simply sharing my experience using somethings that have worked extremely well for me. I’ve spent thousands of dollars over my lifetime trying various brands of vitamins, nutritional supplements, and protein powders, only to find that they make my stomach hurt, they taste horrible, or they don’t have any noticeable affect one me. Of course, everyone is different, but I have been using Moon Juice products on and off for years, and over the last six months I really got consistent with it, and I have noticed a tremendous difference that has improved my mood and energy levels significantly, and it feels wrong not to share something that has positively impacted my life so drastically, with you.
