Candlelight Quartet Concert: A Haunted Evening of Classical Compositions
I have always loved classical music. In fact, one of the first things Robin and I did when we started dating was to visit Chicago to see The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess, which was an four movement symphony and orchestral rendition of the beautiful compositions from the Legend of Zelda franchise (we’re both huge nerds, and we met at Comic Con!). Since then, we’ve seen all manner of orchestra and classical performances, from an event where they played the new Star Trek movies above a live orchestra that supplied the stirring movie score, to making it a point to enjoy local orchestras when we travel, we love seeing performances like these. When I heard that there would be a unique, entirely candlelit quartet performing spooky pieces of classical music in Detroit, I immediately purchased tickets.
