We’d heard great things about Sorelle, one of Charleston’s most popular Italian restaurants. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time in our travel schedule to pop in for dinner, but we fit in a visit to the new Sorelle Mercato for lunch, which is a gorgeous European-influenced café offering a wide assortment of pastries, salads, soups, pizza, and of course a fantastic selection of hot and cold beverages.
Brunch at Azur Café Paris
One of my favorite eco-friendly vegan cafés we landed upon in France was Azur Café Paris. They had an extensive menu of beautifully plated, carefully handcrafted, and considerately locally sourced hyper-seasonal fare that enticed all five senses. Check out the expertly prepared meals we enjoyed, and be inspired for your next visit to Champs Élysées. Ranked in the top 150 out of more than 15,000 restaurants in Paris on TripAdvisor and Google Reviews, you’ll quickly see why this delightful eatery is so highly acclaimed.
Lumé Café in Montmarte Paris
During our time in Paris, France while staying at Hôtel Monsieur Aristide we grabbed a coffee from Boris Lumé Café, which was just around the corner. This cute little café specialized in seasonal fruit and nut pastries and started fruit juice and freshly baked bread. Even though they didn’t have many gluten-free options, they did have plenty of fruit and drinks to choose from, which made grabbing something small to start our day very simple. Everything here is organic, dye-free, and scratch-made daily with seasonal ingredients.

Chuc’s Café | South Kensington
Inspired by world famous photographer Slim Aaron, and summers aboard a yacht in the Mediterranean, Chuc’s Café in Kensington is a gorgeous vignette of summer memories, adventure, and bold colors. This gorgeous café was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of London’s South Kensington District, where we stayed at the Kensington Hotel, and took us right back to our adventures in Italy, not so long ago. The blue and white color scheme, the beautiful miniature orange trees, and the freshly imported Italian ingredients were a delight we won’t soon forget.
