We returned to Wildflower Farms for another gorgeous stay, this time in the heart of summer, and we had a splendid time. While there, we enjoyed a farm-to-table Sunday Brunch at Clay, which I’ve written about for brunch and a sunset dinner previously. Just as spectacular as before, our meals here were nothing short of perfection. The service, atmosphere, food, and flavors were all exquisite, and it’s one of many reasons we and so many others keep coming back for more.
Brunch at Clay Restaurant in Hudson Valley, NY
Clay Restaurant is Wildflower Farm Resort’s on-site restaurant. It’s a fabulous indoor/outdoor space to enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, and it’s open nearly all day for guests of the resort and visitors alike. Offering locally sourced, sustainably farm-grown, farm-to-table fare served on handmade earthenware dishes in a beautiful setting near the Shawangunk Mountains in Hudson Valley, New York, Clay Restaurant is one of the best places we’ve ever eaten.
Nomâde in Westport, CT
I dined at Nomâde in Westport, CT, for the first time during the LTK (formerly rewardStyle) Connecticut Creator Luncheon this week. From the street, I saw woven rattan lights and immediately knew I’d love the interior. Inside, it’s a bright, airy space that serves delicious internationally-inspired cuisine from around the world. The staff are excellent, the location convenient, and the food phenomenal!
Brunch at Azur Café Paris
One of my favorite eco-friendly vegan cafés we landed upon in France was Azur Café Paris. They had an extensive menu of beautifully plated, carefully handcrafted, and considerately locally sourced hyper-seasonal fare that enticed all five senses. Check out the expertly prepared meals we enjoyed, and be inspired for your next visit to Champs Élysées. Ranked in the top 150 out of more than 15,000 restaurants in Paris on TripAdvisor and Google Reviews, you’ll quickly see why this delightful eatery is so highly acclaimed.
Breakfast in Bed
During our anniversary trip to Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, we enjoyed a gorgeously slow start to our otherwise adventure filled day, by having breakfast in bed. Freshly caught fish from Lake Superior, gluten-free granola & strawberry topped panna cotta, gluten free pancakes, plenty of fresh, organic fruits, and other beautiful side dishes made this a morning to remember, as we looked out over the beautiful Straits of Mackinac.
Afternoon Tea at Kensington Hotel in London, England
Kensington Hotel’s Afternoon Tea was the quintessential British tea experience, and was one of our favorite “meals” during our time in London. It was such a pleasure to partake in one of the world’s most iconic Afternoon Tea experiences, and as two lifelong tea drinkers and appreciators, this event was made all the more memorable and enjoyable because we were able to enjoy it together during our Anniversary celebration.
