I hope my Charleston Luxury Travel Guide helps you plan the best possible visit to the Holy City. Charleston Grill in Charleston, SC
We ate at Charleston Grill the last time we were in Charleston, and it was such a wonderful experience that we knew we needed to return this time. Located inside beautiful Charleston Place, this celebrated and highly acclaimed restaurant is home to some of Charleston’s best food. Neither of us had a single dish we didn’t adore between this meal and the last- the food was that delicious! Here’s what we ate and what we thought this time around.
Charleston Grill Inside Belmond Charleston Place
Charleston Grill, located inside Belmond Charleston Place in Charleston, SC, is equal parts jazz club and refined dining haven. Guided by Executive Chef Michelle Weaver, often called “Charleston’s Slow Food Maestro, diners at Charleston Grill bask in Lowcountry delights. Dining here felt as though we had stepped back in time, to a more elegant and sophisticated time when things moved at a more relaxed pace.
Belmond Charleston Place
Belmond, owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton as of 2019, is one of the world’s most iconic and well-respected hospitality providers, and if you ask me, they are the blueprint for luxury travel experiences. I’ve always dreamed of traversing Europe via their Venice Simplon-Orient-Express train, and they were our first choice when we visited Venice, Italy before I really started writing about our travels, so I was thrilled when they wanted to work with me during our travels to Charleston, South Carolina. A visit to Belmond Charleston Place is a vacation in and of itself, so allow me to introduce you to all that they offer in this elegant Lowcountry hideaway.
