My Favorites from Tuckernuck’s Sample Sale
I have been counting down the days until the Tuckernuck sale, because I absolutely adore Tuckernuck (which is a woman owned and operated brand!)! They sell their own label, of course, but they also offer the best pieces from Barbour, Vineyard Vines, The Great, Emerson Fry, Rebecca Taylor, Sail to Sable, Juliet Dunn, Castañer, Toucan Hats, and so many other great brands. Read all about their first ever online sample sale, and read on to see my favorite pieces from the tuckernuck sale!
My Autumn Travel Essentials
I love to pack versatile, easy to wear pieces so I can transition from situation to situation easily, whether I’m popping into a café after site seeing, walking through gardens in the rain, or walking all day while exploring somewhere new, I like to pack with a certain color palette depending upon my destination or the season, or both, so that I can easily mix and match pieces with little effort. My Autumn Travel Essentials reflect this, and I generally wear browns, caramel colors, tobacco leather, and creams, because these pieces can all be easily rearranged to make numerous different outfits, which means I can pack less and get more out of my capsule wardrobe.
The Best Barbour Sale I’ve Ever Seen
I rarely see Barbour Jackets go on sale, and when they do it’s usually only $50 – $80 off at most. Well, I’ve found some of the best deals I’ve ever seen on Barbour Jackets for men and women, and I’m surprised they’re still in stock! These jackets were originally between $300-$600, and you can snag them for as low $80, so grab them before they’re gone, because I don’t think we will ever see prices like this again.
The Perfect Barbour Rain Jacket
I’ve been caught outside, or away from home, without a rain jacket enough times to have learned from my mistake, which is why I always bring this Barbour Waxed Cotton Rain Jacket with me, wherever I go. The best part about this, is that this exact jacket is on sale for 40% off!
Sailing the Straits of Mackinac at Sunset
When on Mackinac Island recently, we enjoyed the most gorgeous sunset sail around the Straits of Mackinac, and saw incredibly vibrant colors like oranges, yellows, pinks, and briefly purples. It had been raining almost all day, so we were a bit worried that the sunset wouldn’t be very visible, but our good luck held out and we were shown the most magnificent sunset I’ve seen all year, which allowed me to take some of my favorite sunset photographs to date! I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them and getting splashed by the choppy waves!
Spring Essentials Vol. 5
Green has always been my favorite color. The color of new leaves on the trees, the color of my eyes, and the color of moss and grass after a rain shower, there’s just something so energizing and invigorating about the color green, particularly when paired with earthy brown tones and cool, crisp white pieces. In this week’s installment of Spring Essentials, I’ve paired natural wooden and woven pieces, with light airy white clothing and pops of green accessories that not only will hold up season after season, they will never go out style, so you can bring your wardrobe out of hibernation and wake it up with this playful color palette.
Spring Essentials Volume 3
Spring is on its way in, and I couldn’t be happier about it. With spring weather, at least here in Michigan, comes blue skies, sudden rain showers, and beautiful balmy nights. So, in this week’s Spring Essentials, I’ve centered everything around this gorgeous navy color, to play into the blue skies we are finally seeing. Navy is such a versatile shade, and it’s so classic, which means you can easily integrate each and every one of these pieces into your existing wardrobe, without missing a beat.
