Wearing a pop of bright color is such a great way to add interest and fun to an otherwise monochromatic outfit. It’s also a great way to mix up your wardrobe. Take the outfit I’m wearing below for example. This white, timeless eyelet dress could be worn with absolutely anything, which is part of the reason I bought it, and this red Prada backpack goes perfectly with it. Swap out the backpack for another colorful bag, bright shoes, or other eye-catching statement accessory and it’s an entirely new look. Rinse and repeat over and over again to give simple garments or pieces in heavy rotation a new lease on life!
As cities begin to reopen, and travel slowly but surely begins to resume, many of you have been asking about the best ways to get back into travel, without going too far away from home, so that you still feel safe. With this in mind, during this month’s Q&A I’ll be answering all of your most commonly asked questions about exploring your own city, and how to plan a staycation. I think the timing of this post is particularly fitting, as we just moved to Connecticut and will be exploring our immediate area & the East Coast for the foreseeable future.
Today, I’m sharing my favorite cold pressed green juice recipe, which features organic kale, cucumbers, celery, and Meyer lemon. It’s bursting with bioavailable vitamins and minerals that help fill common nutritional gaps, increase energy, and decrease both bloating and water retention. Instead of shelling out $15+ for a fresh pressed organic juice, I’ve been making my own at home, and I love that I can completely customize this recipe to fit whatever I’m in the mood for. I hope you love this recipe as much as I do!

Tokyo DisneySea was our last stop during our tour of Japan, and I couldn’t think of a better way to end our time in the Land of the Rising Sun than by visiting Tokyo Disney’s water themed park before heading to Haneda Airport. Inspired by classic fairytales of the sea, like The Little Mermaid, Tokyo DisneySea is an incredible expression of storytelling taken to the next level. The park consists of 7 themed ports, Port Discovery, the American Waterfront, Mediterranean Harbor, Mysterious Island, Arabian Coast, Mermaid Lagoon, and the Lost River Delta. Read on to see how much there is to do at the park, from marveling at the incredibly ornate architecture and trying foods unique to the park, to riding rides, meeting characters, and experiencing your favorite films in a larger-than-life setting.
