I’ve posted about one of my favorite sustainable brands, PrAna, before, and I have to say, I absolutely adore them the more I wear their brand! This dress is made from recycled materials and is really easy to wear because it has a built-in shelf bra. I paired it with a kimono wrap from another one of my favorite brands, Bobeau, and an organic cotton net shopping tote, during my recent trip to Mexico, and it was easily one of the most comfortable outfits I wore during my trip.
This kimono wrap is light, airy, and keeps the sun off my shoulders while looking cute. I’ve also worn this with a white cotton shift dress. The green of the stems and leaves perfectly matches this cotton dress from PrAna, which has a very botanical vibe to it.
The lace-up back of this dress is as functional as it is cute. The woven panel actually added flexibility to this dress, which makes it fit more comfortably. The shelf bra, which as I mentioned is built into this dress is supportive, soft, and doesn’t have any underwire or any uncomfortable aspects to it, making it extremely comfortable without having to worry about finding another bra that wouldn’t show through the dress. I love pieces of clothing that are multi-functional, particularly when it’s hot.
My only complaint about this dress is that I didn’t notice until after I took these photos how small the bra pad of the built-in bra was. While editing, I realized how silly this looks, and it’s odd that they didn’t add bra cups that were the size of the bra cup of the dress. Luckily, I had some extra bra cups from an old swimsuit lying around, and I was able to easily swap them out and they looked a hundred times better. If you have some spares and you decide to pick up one of these dresses it’s an easy fix, although I definitely think it’s something the manufacturer should have noticed during production. Outside of that, I love this dress!
