Sunset Dinner in Aragosta’s Greenhouse
Aragosta sits along the shore of Goose Cove on Deer Isle, more a destination than simply a place. By that, I mean that from the moment I pulled into the driveway, I knew I’d want to return again and again. A thing of simple, laid-back beauty, Aragosta sprawls across more than 20 acres of boreal forest along the ocean, and there’s simply too much to see, do, and enjoy for a single visit or a single meal to suffice. That’s why locals and out-of-towners alike return time and time again to eat, sip, and rest in the culinary haven Chef Devin Finigan has created that rivals the best fine dining any major city has to offer. During my visit, I enjoyed a sunset dinner in Aragosta’s greenhouse, and it’s an experience I’ll never forget.

Truly, this is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had on the East Coast, which is really saying something. I’ll let the images and breathtaking presentations speak for themselves.
Ps. My meal was the gluten-free, pescatarian version of their normal tasting menu. Notify the Aragosta team of any allergies or restrictions at booking, and they’ll take excellent care of you.
