While visiting beautiful Atlanta, Georgia, we set up camp at St. Regis Atlanta, the most elegant address in the city. Here we experienced the legendary hospitality of St. Regis that made them a household name among those in the know. We enjoyed the very best of fine dining, transformative spa experiences, unbridled relaxation, an incredibly convenient location, and anything we could possibly need at our fingertips. I’ve always loved staying at St. Regis hotels, but this was one of the best experiences ever.

Arrival at St. Regis Atlanta
Upon our arrival, the valet took our car and helped us bring our bags to our room. Check-in was a dream, and we’d taken a very early morning flight, so we were endlessly thankful that they could get us into our room at 11 am. We were offered drinks upon arrival, and we were very grateful to be able to make ourselves at home, freshen up, and begin exploring beautiful Atlanta.
Ambience of St. Regis Atlanta
The hotel is the very definition of sophistication and elegance. Everything here was inviting, beautifully appointed, and delightfully intuitive. It felt like we’d been here before, and we never had to guess where anything was as there were conveniently placed placards in each hallway and the elevators, and when we were welcomed to the hotel, they ensured we knew where everything was.
Beautiful floral and abstract patterned carpets made the hotel feel more elegant than most other places we’ve stayed. Rather than being too bold or garish, they elevated the space and perfectly reflected the surrounding decor. One of my pet peeves is ugly flooring, as it can truly undermine the integrity of a room, but St. Regis Atlanta had some of the prettiest carpets I’ve ever seen!
The hotel felt like an oasis in the busy city, particularly on the pool terrace. Standing or swimming there made it easy to believe we were on a tropical getaway instead of in the middle of the city. Plus, conveniently accessible staff meant we could order food or drinks anytime we needed them.
Our Superior Room & Its Amenities
Our sage, taupe, and white superior king room had a great view of the plaza surrounding St. Regis Atlanta. Additionally, it had several spacious closets, a chest of drawers, a balcony, and a very comfortable king-sized bed. There were linens, robes, and slippers from Frette in the room, in addition to fresh water, house chocolate, a Juliet balcony, and a spacious bathroom.
Speaking of the bathroom, this white marble space was one of my favorite parts of our room. In addition to a rain shower, there was a very deep soaking tub with sliding mirrored French doors that opened to the room, so after a long day of sightseeing halfway through our stay, we soaked in the bath while watching a movie on the 65″ flatscreen TV.
Our room also had an incredible Butler service, where anything we needed, like popcorn, a book, a pressing of our clothes, grocery shopping, or anything else that would make our stay that much more enjoyable, was only a phone call away. As convenience and comfort were the names of the game at St. Regis Atlanta, traditional lighting and technology were forgone in favor of smart applicants. The lights, curtains, and more could be commanded with the touch of a button.
Everything about our room was flawless. It was quiet at night, and the turndown service ensured we were always effortlessly prepared for bed. Did I mention this bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in? It was!
St. Regis Pool Piazza
This was one of my favorite aspects of the hotel. The pool piazza was like a tropical getaway in the middle of the city and is exclusively reserved for hotel guests. Complete with embroidered towels, a fully stocked drink and snack bar, a fountain, lounge chairs, a whirlpool hot tub, and a beautiful view of the hotel and the city skyline. This is one of the most beautiful and enjoyable pools I’ve ever splashed around in.

While visiting St. Regis Atlanta or any other St. Regis property, be sure to get a branded coconut – it’s one of their signature offerings! Can you tell I was thrilled about mine? Coconuts are one of my very favorite things to eat or drink. It’s even better when they’re so cute!

Dining at Atlas
During our stay, we enjoyed a splendid pescatarian tasting menu at the hotel’s award-winning restaurant, Atlas. During our 10-course meal, made with locally and sustainably sourced produce and carefully and sustainably harvested seafood, we explored all Atlas’ incredible staff could create with their world-renown skills. Stay tuned for a full-length feature on this legendary dining experience.
The Spa at St. Regis Atlanta
We also visited The Spa at St. Regis Atlanta for the very best massage I’ve ever had. Offering plenty of incredibly effective and unbelievably elevated spa treatments, from facials and youth-enhancing treatments to whole-body wellness programs, The Spa at St. Regis is firmly seated in the top 10 best spas I’ve ever visited anywhere in the world. Final Thoughts on Our Stay
I loved every single aspect of our stay at St. Regis Atlanta. We were within walking distance of many things we wanted to do and places we wanted to eat. The staff was kind and helpful, ensuring we never had to lift a finger. The food here was outstanding, from dining at Atlas to enjoying breakfast in the newly remodeled Astor Court each morning. Waking up here was a true joy.
I’ve long been a patron of St. Regis hotels, and St. Regis Atlanta reminded me why their legendary hospitality has set the standard of welcoming guests for over a century. Anytime we return to Atlanta, we intend to stay here because there wasn’t a single thing we would change about our stay.
