Spring is finally here in Michigan, and I couldn’t be happier! It has been a very long and cold winter, and I’m so ready for some sunshine. I recently discovered I have a gluten intolerance, which explains a lot of health issues I’ve been having, and I’ve been spending the last few weeks figuring out how to make the necessary changes to my diet to be healthier and eat without pain. I’ve spent the past few weeks talking with nutritionists and my doctor to get a plan together to help stop my stomach and digestive issues, and I’m already feeling much better. I apologize for not posting more regularly during the past 2 weeks, but my health comes first, and now that I have an answer to what’s been making sick, hopefully I can get back to posting regularly!
I have so many fun things planned for the coming months, and I can’t wait to share them with you all! This weekend I’ll be heading to Tulip Time in Holland (you can check out last year’s post here), and running my first 5k! I’ll be heading up north to Mackinac Island for our first stay at the Grand Hotel for the summer, and I’ll be visiting a number of other towns around the state this summer to share with you all of the wonderful reasons you should come visit my home state! I’ll be getting my drone license in the next few weeks so I can start sharing awesome drone footage and photography with you, and I’m heading to a really awesome music festival with some friends next month, so keep an eye out for some really great backstage posts on some of my favorite EDM DJs too. I’ll also be discussing more about my dietary changes, not because I think you really care whether or not I am able to eat bread and pastas, but because the symptoms I’ve been having have been so unusual, and Gluten Intolerances are becoming so much more common that some of you may also have the same issues that I do, and I want you to know that you can feel better too.
This outfit makes me so happy. I look like a cross between a farmer’s daughter or a milk maid, and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and I just can’t get enough of this look! I absolutely adore these feather shoes, which come in a few different colors and styles. I never thought I’d be so excited about a pair of shoes with feathers, and yet here I am, geeking out haha. You can shop this fun, spring outfit below, and if you make a purchase through my links, I’ll get a small commission that helps me maintain my blog and continue to bring you fun and exciting content about fashion and travel. Thank you so much for supporting my blog, it means the world to me! I also have lots of new outfits on the LiketoKnow.it app, and you can easily shop everything I post here and much more by downloading the app here!
