Stripes are always in season, but never more so than the warmer months of the year, when the sun is out more often, and the world around us blooms in full color. I love this look, because it’s not only a bit of print mixing, but it’s also a play on various textures, from the delicate joint of the sleeves on the top, to the grid texture of the skirt, mixing patterns and textures is a great way to make your outfits standout, without being too flashy!

When styling an airy, looser top, be sure to balance your proportions and pair it with a more fitted skirt, so your body isn’t lost in a cloud of clothing. The opposite is true as well. If you’re wearing a looser skirt, pair it with a more fitted top to balance your outfit, and accentuate your shape!
This skirt is so unique. I love the beautiful philodendron lace print, and the fun edge of this skirt, which was originally part of a two piece set that I split. This was from last season, but there are still a few sizes left, under $100 here , here, and here!

I absolutely love the fun bow sleeves on this top. They add such a flirty, feminine touch to this nautical outfit, and gives this outfit an extra pop of interest! Did I mention it’s under $20? I took my regular size, but if you have a larger bust or arms, I recommend sizing up!
