My blog started because of my love obsession with the Lilly Pulitzer brand. I run a Facebook group dedicated to styling the brand with nearly 40,000 members in it, and I went from 0-40k followers on IG because of a few viral flatlay and closet pictures that garnered hundreds of thousands of shares on Tumblr, Twitter, and Pinterest, so it’s easy to see why the pink and green brand will always have a special place in my heart. It’s because of this fondness for the color of pink sakura trees, blushing cheeks, and bright summer colors that I created this week’s Spring Essentials post. I hope you enjoy it! Ps. stay tuned for a few Lilly Pulitzer themed essentials coming up!
Style
This pink ombre dress is absolutely stunning, particularly when paired with these ephemeral feather heels, this round rattan basket bag with a sheer pink panel, this pink ring and matching earrings, a mermaid ring, this pink quilted cotton handbag, these hair clips, and these glasses or this sunhat. I also love this cherry blossom colored, sustainably made tee, this white maxi skirt, these leather loafers, this gold hair pin, these earrings, this pearl necklace, and this fun gold bangle. I also love this bag strap, as well as this floating key chain for our boat keys!
I think this white lace dress is going to be something I will wear often this spring and summer!
Clean Beauty & Wellness
Every cell in our body needs Magnesium to function properly, and since I began taking this magnesium supplement with my morning iced coffee, I have felt so much better in both my energy levels and how well I sleep at night. I’ve been using this ice roller to depuff my jet lagged skin, and I sometimes even roll over these sheet masks (that I use alongside these body & hair sheet masks), after I refrigerate them for maximum capillary constriction and redness reduction. This French inspired candle has been burning in my office for a week or two now, and I love the delicate floral scent.
Once again, my favorite eye pencil made it into my spring favorites, and this reimagining of the first Diptyque fragrance I was ever gifted is a beautiful ode to spring. I really enjoy this bubble bath, this sakura (cherry blossom) scented lip balm, and this hair pin is so lovely for spring hair styles. I also found this redness reducing serum that works wonders on my sensitive skin.
Home
For my spring birthday, I’m picking out a set of six candles to scent our home from my favorite candle brand, and my husband recently sent me these gorgeous flowers, which lived for more than three weeks!
