This has been the first week that we’ve had consistent blue skies since last September. The snow is beginning to melt, and we can finally go outside without having to worry about getting frostbite (I’m not exaggerating, it gets dangerously cold here!). These beautiful blue skies inspired me to craft this week’s Spring Essentials around this stunning hue, and thankfully now that retailers are finally putting out spring and early summer clothing, so it wasn’t difficult to find a plethora of beautiful blues.
Lately I have been absolutely obsessed with this classic, sky blue color, so when I found this braided belt dress (see more by Rhode), this eyelet shift dress, this blue and white striped swimsuit from my favorite swimsuit brand Solid & Striped, and this structured, blue eyelet lace dress, I couldn’t resist adding them to my wardrobe. I love the shape of this white button up blouse for spring, especially when paired with my favorite jeans from Citizens of Humanity. As you know, I’m a straw hat fiend (check out my new post, 600 Straw Sun Hats Under $50), and I recently added this understated beauty to my collection. I also love white shoes for spring and summer, so I recently purchased these white sneakers and these white beach shoes.
This hair clip set, by my favorite hair accessory brand Alexandre de Paris, have been on repeat in my wardrobe, and I love that they come in a trio of different sizes, so I can create lots of unique styles with my thick hair. These bracelets are so delicate and cute that they wouldn’t feel out of place at the beach, shopping, or at brunch with friends, and they pair beautifully with these stone earrings, or these crescent earrings. This gorgeous sky blue velvet hair bow, these sunglasses, this watery bangle, these pearl earrings (currently 80% off!), and this ring are some of my current favorite accessories that go with absolutely anything, and will last a lifetime. This interchangeable watch and this pearl disk necklace are pieces I know I will wear for seasons to come too.
I’ve been using this Lapis facial oil since last summer (last seen here), and it’s still one of my favorite beauty products! I resolved last year to switch to clean beauty products, and this Kjaer Weis eyeliner has been my go-to ever since. I love using this lip balm, as well as this bubble bath that’s perfect for sensitive skin, and when I’m feeling jet lagged, I break out my favorite de-puffing, eye-bag erasing eye cream.
I’ve also been working on improving my health from the inside out by regularly drinking GTS CocoKefir, which is vegan, organic, and tastes so amazing, all while re-establishing beneficial gut microflora that help prevent bloating or upset stomaches when traveling. “Pure” and “Raspberry” are my favorite flavors!
As I mentioned in Spring Essentials Volume 1 last week, we are in the process of redoing a few spaces in our home, and I’ve turned to my favorite home décor brand for help outfitting our home in line with our eco-chic decor vibe. These gorgeous handwoven, rattan stools have been on my wishlist for awhile now, and I can’t wait for these to finally arrive and be put to use at our kitchen counter. To perfume our home, I love this room spray, and if you know anything about me, you know how obsessed I am with these candles. I also love this gorgeous watery, decorative bowl as a bold accent piece on our coffee table.
