I wanted to wait to write this review until I knew whether or not we liked this mattress, because you know I won’t write reviews or share things with you I don’t absolutely love, and I can’t tell you how much well we slept on this from the first night! Saatva reached out to me and wanted to send us one of their luxury mattresses, and promised we would fall in love with it. I was skeptical at first, because my husband Robin and I have very different tastes when it comes to mattresses and it’s hard to find a mattress that we both find comfortable, and that isn’t full of chemicals. When we learned that not only is every Saatva mattress free from toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, and crafted in the United States from recycled steel, toxin free foam, and organic cotton covers, which means we didn’t have to worry about harmful off gassing like with most mattresses, we were willing to give it a shot. The Saatva team was great about helping us decide on the hight and style of mattress we wanted, and that was it! Setting up delivery of our mattress was a breeze, and the Saatva Delivery Team made replacing our mattress simple for us. They also have the option to take away old mattresses for customers, but we decided to relegate it to our guest bedroom for the time being instead.
We were also sent organic cotton Lofton Dreams by Saatva sheets (we went with white) made with a fine sateen weave for a silky smooth feel, and they have quickly become my favorite set of sheets! They’re so soft and free of chemicals that traditional sheets have, so we can sleep easy knowing that everything we touch while we sleep is organic.
Needless to say, we both loved the mattress. It was firm and supportive, yet soft and plush enough to be comfortable for both of us, and we had some of the best sleep of our lives the first night we changed mattresses. Saatva is a luxury mattress because of the attention to detail they put into each and every mattress they produce. Each spring is wrapped to evenly distribute one’s weight and prevent discomfort or unevenness, and there’s also a specialized lumbar region that offers extra lower back support, which is perfect for anyone with back issues, those who workout frequently, or anyone who wants the best sleep of their lives. While everyone’s mattress preference is different, Saatva offers a 120 day risk-free in home trial, so that you can take up to 4 months to decide whether or not you are in love with your mattress before committing.
To customize your mattress experience, you can select your mattress from 3 firmness variations, Plus Soft, Luxury Firm, or Firm, which is the firmest mattress. We went with the Luxury Firm which is somewhere between firm and soft, but still offers lower lumbar support, and luxury quality. Saatva also offers an adjustable bed base that allows the user to lift up sections of the mattress for customized comfort, which you can read all about here.
We love our Saatva mattress, and I think you will too! Check out their website here.
Farewell, fellow adventurers!
