Reishi Cacao Elixir Recipe

Coffee is a great way to start the day, but the caffeine in coffee can not only cause jitters but also cause dangerous energy crashes. Reishi is my favorite coffee replacer. It tastes chocolatey, plus it gives me gentle energy without the jitters. It’s even said to help reduce anxiety and reduce the effects of stress. That’s why this reishi cacao elixir recipe is one of my favorites!

This recipe features my favorite products from Anima Mundi Herbals. Not only does it taste like creamy coffee, but the boost from the collagen elixir helps skin health too!

Reishi Cacao Elixir Recipe – Makes 2 Servings

2 Cups of Milk Alternative (I used Oat Milk)
1 Teaspoon Reishi Powder
1 Teaspoon Collagen Booster Elixir
1 Tablespoon Heirloom Cacao
1-2 teaspoons Coconut Cream Powder
Optional: Vanilla Powder to taste or sprinkled on top
Handful of Ice
Whisk, Bowl, Cups

How to Make

  1. In a bowl, mix oat milk with coconut cream powder, heirloom cacao, and coconut creamer, then whisk until there are no lumps.
  2. Add reishi powder as you whisk until smooth.
  3. Add collagen booster elixir and vanilla if using. Whisk
  4. Add ice to cups
  5. Pour drink mixture over ice
  6. Enjoy!

You could make this hot by omitting the ice, heating the mixture on the stove until it reaches the desired temperature (don’t let it boil), and then pouring into a mug.

This reishi cacao elixir so refreshing, and it gives me energy without making me feel jittery. My husband is replacing coffee with this drink to curb his caffeine consumption, and it’s already helped.
