Wearing a pop of bright color is such a great way to add interest and fun to an otherwise monochromatic outfit. It’s also a great way to mix up your wardrobe. Take the outfit I’m wearing below for example. This white, timeless eyelet dress could be worn with absolutely anything, which is part of the reason I bought it, and this red Prada backpack goes perfectly with it. Swap out the backpack for another colorful bag, bright shoes, or other eye-catching statement accessory and it’s an entirely new look. Rinse and repeat over and over again to give simple garments or pieces in heavy rotation a new lease on life!

I really love this dress from Cleobella. It’s similar to this one from LoveShackFancy I wore at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, MI a few years ago, but it’s so pretty and easy to wear that I couldn’t resist, particularly as it was recently on sale! I’m wearing my normal size in it and it’s very comfortable thanks to the smocking and easy going nature of the garment. Something about eyelet and white as the temperatures warm feels so nastolgic and cozy, even if I can’t quite explain why. I love it!
This was the outfit I wore to dinner at Canoe in Atlanta, Georgia, during our recent visit. Lately, I’ve been breaking into my Julie Vos jewelry collection, particularly as I show more wrist (so scandalous! haha) this spring and summer. I love creating stacks of these museum-worthy pieces that really look more like works of art than regular jewelry. See more of my collection here, and how I’ve worn Julie Vos in the past here.
I really liked that restaurant, and if you haven’t already, check out my Atlanta, Georgia Luxury Travel Guide to see all of the amazing things that we saw, did, and ate. It should help you plan your own adventure too!

Love the white eyelet dress, it represents summer! It’s great for a carefree stroll on the beach.
