I recently returned from our excursion to Mexico and Arizona and had a lovely time! I tried to stick to a neutral/light color palette to avoid being too hot, as many of the days we were there the temperatures were in excess of 110°. I’ve been really trying to diversify my wardrobe lately. I feel I’ve been buying the same styles over and over again, for years. I had so many oxfords, skirts, tanks, and tees all cut the same way that the only difference between them was the color or print – so boring! Making a conscious effort to diversify my wardrobe by picking different colors, different textures, unique cuts, and clothing with more details like off the shoulder tops, clothing with ruffles, pom poms, tassels, asymmetrical hems, and fabrics that aren’t just cotton or silk has livened up my wardrobe immensely this summer! This outfit takes a basic shirt and blouse combo to the next level, and I’m loving it!
This adorable skirt and crop top are from one of my favorite brands for inexpensive, on trend styles, Shein! If you’re interested in learning how the sizing of Shein works, you can watch the video I created here! I’m wearing the one size crop top (the back is elastic and fits a wide range of sizes) and I’m wearing a medium in the skirt. I’ve become somewhat of a basket bag connoisseur and I know own far more than the average person probably should, however this bag is one of my all time favorites!
