Today’s post is just a quick little outfit of the day post, featuring this lovely Juliet Dunn dress that I’ve worn several times this summer already. The silhouette of this peachy pink summer dress (also available in white and lemon yellow) is just so feminine and timeless; I’m sure I’ll love this dress for years to come. Surprising, no one, I’m once again wearing my favorite pair of Jack Rogers sandals. I’ve probably put 500 km on these bad boys, haha.
Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t step foot outside in the spring, summer, or even fall without one of my straw hats, so of course, I had to wear one during this visit to a greenhouse. I’ve been trying my hand at making my own straw hats, and it’s been so much fun. I’m not entirely proficient at it, but someday I’d love to make my own and have a small hat shop at the edge of our property where I could spend afternoons making hats, embroidering the brims, selecting the perfect ribbons, and handmaking lace or embroidered details to really set them off. For now, I’ll have to settle with experimenting on the hats I already own.

I’m doing better every day after the car accident and everything that happened last month. I finally slept through the night last night without being woken up by nightmares of what happened, so I’m very thankful to be healing from that. My bruises from the accident have mostly faded, too, although my wrist still can’t bear much weight, and my shins are still pretty sore. I’ve been wearing longer dresses like this peachy pink summer dress (although these photos were from before the accident) to cover my shins, so I don’t upset anyone with my bruises, but hopefully, I can pull out some of my skirts and shorts again soon.
