The Four Seasons Hotel Seattle was one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever visited. Situated along Puget Sound, this tranquil hotel was our home away from home for the final evening of our time in Seattle. We witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen over the Sound from the hotel’s infinity pool deck, savored culinary delights at Goldfinch Tavern, received world-class service from every hotel staff we encountered, and were positively pampered with a full range of amenities that Four Seasons Hotels are famous for all over the world.

A James Beard Semi-Finalist, this New American restaurant offers a seasonal menu that changes based on what’s available in the Pacific Northwest, while always maintaining a fine-dining atmosphere, impeccable plating and presentations, by only ever using the highest-quality ingredients.

When we found ourselves traveling to Washington on both personal business and work, I knew one of my top priorities whilst in the state was heading to Olympic National Park. This breathtaking National Park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is an incredible region due to the vastly varying topography and ecosystems. From rainforests, cascading waterfalls and mountain ranges to the glaciers atop Mt. Olympus, sprawling rocky or sandy beaches, and old growth forests with some of the tallest trees we’ve ever seen anywhere in the world, Olympic National Park is one of the most exciting, diverse, and and impressive national wonders in the world.
Sustainability, and supporting local growers is something we’ve been trying to do more often. The concept of honoring the Earth, one another, and becoming more attuned to the unique flavors, textures, colors, and fragrances of each local season through food is precisely what Aerlume (pronounced like heirloom) is all about. Located between Bell Harbor Marina and the famous Pike Place Market, overlooking beautiful Puget Sound, Aerulume had some of the most flavorful, inspired food we’ve ever encountered in the Pacific Northwest.

On the 16th floor of the brand new 5-Star Lotte Hotel Seattle is one of the best brunch spots I’ve ever visited. Overlooking breathtaking Puget Sound, the surrounding mountains, and the city of Seattle, Charlotte Restaurant and Lounge was one of our favorite dining experiences in the city. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Alexander La Motte, who has previously helped restaurants attain Michelin Stars, we were served a gorgeous meal featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
