New York Fashion Week has been such an exciting adventure! I met my friend Eva for the first time in person, I tried some new clothing styles like fringe, crop-tops, feathers, a cape, and more, I saw so many inspirational designs, I met other bloggers for the first time (no one I know blogs at all, other than Eva), and had a blast at roof top parties, listened to several live performances, explored New York City for the first time and so much more! Learn about the best and most disappointing parts of the trip, be inspired by runway footage, and see the latest trends in fashion! Check out the video above to see a summary of everything I did, and stay tuned for more posts about what I wore and what I did during my time in New York!
We weren’t able to get into one of the biggest shows we were invited to because people were cutting, shoving, and pushing their way to the front. We were the next ones in line when they closed the doors, and it was just so sad that people without invitations were able to cut us (people who had been invited and had seat assignments). I’m in no way upset with the brand, because while inviting way more people than the venue can fit sounds like a mean thing to do, it’s very common at fashion shows. Throw in stars like Dita von Teese & Nicki Minaj, and people who have nothing to do with the fashion scene are bound to be interested too. It was definitely a learning experience, and while I was disappointed, I am very grateful I was even invited!
