I dined at Nomâde in Westport, CT, for the first time during the LTK (formerly rewardStyle) Connecticut Creator Luncheon this week. From the street, I saw woven rattan lights and immediately knew I’d love the interior. Inside, it’s a bright, airy space that serves delicious internationally-inspired cuisine from around the world. The staff are excellent, the location convenient, and the food phenomenal!

The Ambience
As I mentioned, I was there for an LTK event ahead of fashion week, so although I didn’t have the typical Nomâde experience, they sure knew how to show us a wonderful time! Everything inside was intentionally selected, from the live plants and woven light fixtures to the reclaimed wood bars, recycled glass water glasses, and leather cushioned seats. I noticed they had solar panels on their roof, which is something I always love to see too!

The restaurant made me feel like I was back in Tulum, right along the beach, and while we haven’t had a cold winter this year, I would love to be transported back to this beautiful part of the Riviera Maya! Needless to say, it was very laid back, bright, airy, and refreshing!

Nomâde’s Menu & My Meal
We didn’t order from the menu, so my experience was atypical. Even so, everything here was phenomenal! My husband and I are planning a return visit to sample more of their global fare. They served us sandwiches (which I couldn’t eat because they weren’t gluten-free and had meat I don’t eat), poached shrimp, elevated deviled eggs, and a phenomenal gluten-free salad with vinaigrettes and fresh olives that was bursting with flavor.

Everything was delicious, and I was very pleased with the quality of the food here. Check out their normal menus, here.
Final Thoughts
If you’re ever in Westport, Nomâde is absolutely worth a stop. In fact, even if you have to drive a ways to get there, it’s well worth a journey! I really love how much great the food is here in Connecticut, and that’s especially true along the ocean. I know I’ll spend much more time in Westport in the future, and I look forward to returning to Nomâde as soon as possible.
