New Camera, Computer Setup & Software + What’s In Store for AWI

First and foremost, I’d like to thank you all for always supporting me, even in my absence. I’ve received dozens of messages & emails asking if everything is okay, why I haven’t been posting daily, when I’ll be posting again to my blog or uploading a new YT video, etc. and it means the world to me that all of you care so much!

What’s New:

Yes, I am okay! In fact, I’m wonderful! I’ve been in the process of updating my photography equipment, my computer setup, editing software, and so much more! I went from a 16 MP camera to a 34 MP camera with 4k video and it is INCREDIBLE! The only downside (if you can call it that) to this was that my old computer was totally not equipped to deal with the power of my new camera & the images it produced, and as a result I somehow fried it. I couldn’t edit photos or videos, it wouldn’t read memory cards anymore,  and it was an all around huge inconvenience. On Monday of this week, I ordered my first iMac & a copy of Final Cut Pro software which can not only handle the upgraded specs from my new camera, but it was designed to help make the most of this new HD tech! I’m seriously so excited for everything to arrive so that I can take my creativity to another level!

I will be back to posting daily on my blog as soon as possible. I’m also in the process of organizing 3-5 Instagram posts each day, as well as 2-3 YouTube videos each week, so that I may share more of my looks, travel and photography with all of you!

Ps. I’ve also recently started going to Hot Vinyasa Yoga classes each week, and I absolutely love it?!? It’s such an awesome workout, I’ve built up my endurance to high temperatures (yay for not feeling like I’m going to pass out when it gets above 85 degrees haha), improved my flexibility and discovered muscle soreness on levels I didn’t even know were possible! Never in a million years would I have guessed that I’d be into yoga, but here I am haha.

Looking Ahead:

In the coming months, I have some really fun trips planned, including another visit to the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, events across Michigan, a road trip across the country, and more international travel! I’ve also lined up some really fun collaborations with my blogger friends and some of my favorite brands, which I think you’re going to love! Since so many of you have been asking for it, I’m also planning to start vlogging some of the more exciting days, so I can share with all of you on another level!

I’m also ordering a drone and a GoPro – the GoPro Karma, so prepare to see Michigan (and my adventures) like never before!

I’m kind of going crazy over here waiting for everything to arrive before we leave for our trip up north this weekend, but you’ll be the first to know when I have everything up and running!

Did You Know?

Thank you all so much for following me no this crazy journey of mine! When I started this adventure into the realm of blogging & YouTubing, I had no clue that it would turn into what it is today. I began by posting my outfits on my Instagram account just so that I could spend less time getting dressed in the morning. Before long, I had 100 of you following me, talking to me about fashion and what we were wearing on any given day, and someone mentioned I should start using hashtags, which until that point I’d never used. By implementing hashtags, 100 followers turned into 1,000 in just under 2 weeks. I’ll never forget how excited I was to reach 1,000 of you! I don’t even know 1,000 people in real life, so it’s just crazy – Robin even took me out to dinner to celebrate this milestone! Now I reach nearly half a million people each month across platforms, I’ve become a YouTube partner, and I’ve not only been able to work with some of the coolest brands out there, but I’ve made so many friends doing this, I’ve gone on so many adventures, and I’ve been able to meet so many new people (even if only online) – it all feels like a dream!

I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without all of you, so thank you, from the bottom of my heart for always supporting me!
