I love wearing bright, bold colors. It’s part of the reason I’m such a huge Lilly Pulitzer fan. I don’t think wearing bright colors can ever be too loud, but that’s just me. When I heard that Tieks had a neon collection that included radiant pink, purple, green, yellow, and orange in the brightest neon shades possible, I knew I had to add the neon pink, called “pop pink” Tieks to my shoe collection. I’ve never worn such bright, fun, and colorful pink shoes before, and I absolutely love these!
The following images were taken pre-dinner on my iPhone!
During our time at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, we dressed each night colorfully for dinner in the main dining room to coordinate with the hotel’s famously flamboyant decor we love so much. Matching pinks is easy to do when they’re all so bright. If you’re a bit color shy, I recommend picking similar shades of pinks and mixing the patterns, as I did here with the floral print of this Darlah shift and the striped seersucker print of my woven clutch. With the glossy shine of my neon pop pink Tieks, everything is pulled together in a deliciously bright palette. It’s that simple to match bold colors!
Do you prefer to wear bold, bright colors, or are you more of a neutrals person? If you’re like me and don’t want to limit yourself to just one aesthetic, you probably have an entire wardrobe full of a rainbow of colorful clothing alongside plenty of supporting neutral pieces. I don’t often wear bright colors in the wintertime, but I love wearing the brightest colors possible each summer. I make the most of the warm weather to be bright and colorful, like the world in bloom around me!
