When I’m packing for a trip, there are a few feminine travel essentials I always reach for, like my mobile charger that can charge my phone fully 6-8 times, my favorite travel wrap, the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever worn, my favorite watch, and my noise-canceling headphones. If I’m going somewhere rainy, I’ll take along a pair of rain boots, a poncho, shearling insoles, as well as a belt bag I can wear underneath my raincoat to keep my belongings dry. If I’m headed somewhere sunny, I typically take along a versatile basket bag, favorite sunglasses, and a few sundresses.
When it comes to luggage, I absolutely love vintage-looking Steamline Luggage because not only are they sturdy, they’re unique and beautiful, so it stands out when I’m looking for my bag. I place one or two luggage tags with my contact information on my bags, on the off chance my bags are misplaced, and I have a matching passport cover to keep the symbol of my freedom to adventure safe and protected. When I’m out exploring the city, I keep my valuables tucked securely away with this flat bag that’s less than $20 and has RFID blocking technology, which helps keep my information private and secure. I love this crossbody bag as the perfect carry-on for my laptop, a change of clothes, my toiletries, and camera.
Inside my luggage or carry-on bag, I like to store my electronics and cables in a roll-up case so that they don’t get tangled, and I have a separate roll-up for my personal care items such as tweezers, nail clippers, and mini-scissors. One of the most important travel organization discoveries I’ve made is this accordion folder that helps keep my jewelry tangle-free and prevents my jewelry from being crushed by padding it.
Personal Care Items
When traveling, making sure you bring feminine hygiene products if you need them on your travels. I also always carry Advil with me in my checked bag because I frequently get headaches. Birth control and/or any other medications you may require, sunscreen, deodorant, a toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush, and your favorite cosmetics are things you can’t leave home without either!
