One of my new favorite skincare companies, The Organic Skin Co., has fantastic organic and sustainable skincare and beauty products. They’re made in New Zealand and have some of the most thoughtfully designed, intentionally designed, and eco-friendly packagings I’ve encountered in the beauty world. Just as importantly, everything I’ve tried from The Organic Skin Care Co. has worked exceptionally well and has been gentle on my very sensitive skin. Here are my favorite products from The Organic Skin Co. and why I like them.
Sustainability
All their packaging is as sustainable as it gets and either compostable or recyclable. Less than 2% of their total packaging is plastic, which can be recycled. The rest is bamboo, glass, or, as is the case with their tubes, made from post-consumer recycled aluminum. The products come in paper packaging that’s very attractive and entirely recyclable.
When I’m done with my moisturizers and facial oils that come in glass and bamboo pots or bottles, I plan to upcycle them and use them for something else!
Truly Clean Ingredients
Made from easily collectible, plentiful organic ingredients, the brand focuses on regenerative formulations that leave the planet better than they found it. They source from biodynamic, organic regenerative farms. Each product has a very small carbon footprint. Did I mention that their products aren’t tested on animals? That’s a requirement for me when selecting skincare and beauty products!
My Favorite Products From the Organic Skin Co.
I’m starting with my very favorite product first. I’ve used so many different serums throughout my life. Some are sticky, some have strange fragrances, and most have irritated my skin. None have come close to brightening, plumping, or soothing my skin as much as their Vitamin Sea (Vitamin C) serum. It helps boost collagen production, soften skin, and reduce fine lines. I’ve also found that this serum seriously reduces the redness that has plagued my face my whole life. Plus, it smells incredible. Formulated with organic New Zealand Native Red Seaweed and hydrating New Zealand Native Black Fern, this one is a perfect 10/10 in my book. It’s something I can’t live without – I’m hooked!
Moisturizers
I tried four of The Organic Skin Co.’s moisturizers, and they all worked exceptionally well. Many of the moisturizers I’ve tried sting my skin, irritate it or exacerbate redness, but these all did the opposite. My skin was soothed, hydrated, and calm, plus it felt fuller and softer.
My favorite was The Dream Cream. Though it is a different consistency than the rest and needs to be mixed with water because it’s solid, it has my favorite scent of the four and seems to be the gentlest. It feels like a fluffy cloud on my skin, and on a scale of 1 -10, I give this one a 10 – I love it!
The other moisturizers I tried were Hydration Agent, Daily Rituals, and Task Force Nine Calming Cream. All three work exceptionally well and smell fantastic. They all smell amazing too! No matter which you pick, you really can’t go wrong. They’re not just great for the face; I use these as all-over moisturizers too! I wish they’d make these in larger sizes because I think I’ll go through this size rather quickly, particularly in winter when they work so well to cure dry skin.

Cleanser & Primer
The Clean Slate Cleanser is a rejuvenating AHA cleanser infused with antioxidants that not only removes surface impurities but works deep into pores to unclog them for truly refreshed skin. It’s exceptionally gentle, and I love that it’s packaged in a recycled aluminum tube!
The Primp ‘n Prime Primer minimizes the appearance of pores and preps skin for makeup or sunscreen to make it last all day long. I’ve tried other primers that clog my pores, irritate my skin, or cause breakouts, and this primer is the most gentle I’ve ever used.
Mascara & Eyeliner
Most mascaras & eyeliners are full of toxic chemicals, and it’s never made sense to me that we put such things on and around our eyes. The Organic Skincare Co.’s mascara is infused with nurturing CO2 extracts of honeysuckle and rosemary, conditioning shea butter and castor oil, plus organic carnauba wax and lengthens and curls my lashes perfectly. Plus, it’s the perfect deep, jet-black!
Their liquid eyeliner took me a few tries to get right because the wand was very long, so I had to hold it quite a bit further from my face than I was used to with my other liquid lines. The tube is also jam-packed with product, which is fantastic but also required me to practice getting the correct amount each time to keep the application more manageable. When I became accustomed to it, I couldn’t believe I’d ever used another liner!
Facial Oils & Toner
I tried three facial oils from The Organic Skincare, and I loved them all! Two are tinted – The Only Glow facial oil. I tried the light and medium shades (which I’m wearing in the above photo) and found the best results from blending them together for an in-between shade. The coverage is buildable, so if I get any color in the spring and summer, I can use more for more accurate coloring. They are lightweight, gentle on my skin, and really help to lock in my moisturizer!
The Good Oil, according to their website, smells like a Thai garden in springtime. While I’ve not yet been to Thailand, I have visited dozens and dozens of gardens around the world, and this honeysuckle and turmeric face oil smells phenomenal and leaves my skin glowing.
The Set the Tone rose-scented toner is another delicious-smelling olfactory experience that also hydrates skin. Formulated with organic aloe vera, rose water, soothing honeysuckle supercritical CO2 extract & brightening rose oil, this is an excellent organic perfume and complexion booster!

Final Thoughts
I’m incredibly impressed with this New Zealand company, and I hope more and more brands will ditch animal testing, toxic ingredients, and wasteful packaging. It’s the 21st century, and we should leave those things in the past where they belong and learn from our mistakes by working to do better. I am so glad this company is more budget-friendly than many other organic skincare companies and uses such beautiful, eco-friendly packaging. I’ll be an Organic Skin Co. customer for life!

I’m going to try that serum!!! I have very similar skin to yours, and it sounds awesome! I saw great results from the Annmarie Gianni skincare you’ve recommended in the past and so I trust you not to lead me astray again. You have great skin!

Do they have travel-size products? I’m not seeing them anywhere.
