Something about spring makes me so ready for change. When the trees begin to show their leaves, the flowers bloom, and the air outside because warmer and more inviting, I’m inspired to organize my house, take stock of what’s in my closets, plan my garden and think about what I want to do as warmer weather approaches. So, this spring, I’m sharing a few of my favorite things with you to inspire you to do the same. Check out my post about cleaning out closets and donating what we don’t wear, here and building your dream wardrobe. I hope these posts inspire you to get a fresh start too!
If you regularly visit my blog or follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I’m a major fan of Skin loungewear, so it’s no surprise that my current favorite pajamas are from Skin. These pieces are so timeless, comfortable, and easy to care for that it’s truly like a second skin. I forget I’m wearing anything, and that’s the ultimate goal when it comes to being comfortable, isn’t it? As always, I favor organic textiles whenever possible, which is why I so love this organic Pima cotton Karla chemise. It has a built-in bra, and adjustable straps, and it’s unbelievably soft. Knowing that I’m not exposing myself to toxic chemicals from conventional clothing dyes and growing practices truly helps me sleep better at night!

Another of my favorites this season is the double-layer wrap robe, also made of 100% organic Pima cotton. This is so lovely, lightweight, and comfortable as the temperatures continue to rise outside. I love throwing this on out of the shower as I get ready for the day or at night as I soak my feet in a foot bath and give myself a manicure. It’s such a comforting way to dress that allows me to truly rest, relax, and recharge.
My favorite fragrance is still Phylosykos from Diptyque. A little goes a very long way, so though it’s a bit more expensive than most perfume brands out there, it’s made with high-quality ingredients in France, and a single bottle lasts me at least a year.
I’ve also been having so much fun lately growing plants hydroponically. I bought a few in glass bottles to start me off, and I’ve taken to propagating tons of plants in water. So much so that I’ve had to buy more shelves for my houseplants! I know I’ll continue doing this for years to come, and they make excellent gifts for my loved ones.

My husband and father-on-law built our hydroponics garden and it is truly the best! Love watching the fish, knowing that it adds nutrients to our vegetables
