On the 16th floor of the brand new 5-Star Lotte Hotel Seattle is one of the best brunch spots I’ve ever visited. Overlooking breathtaking Puget Sound, the surrounding mountains, and the city of Seattle, Charlotte Restaurant and Lounge was one of our favorite dining experiences in the city. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Alexander La Motte, who has previously helped restaurants attain Michelin Stars, we were served a gorgeous meal featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, all expertly plated in an aesthetically perfect manner, not a single micro green out of place.

I enjoyed a bowl fresh berries featuring blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries along with a flavorful shakshouka dish topped with micro greens. The red sauce of my shakshouka was full of hearty, thinly sliced roasted peppers, tomatoes, and onions, and the eggs that topped off this flavorful North African dish had Lucious, golden yolks that were the most flavorful eggs I’d had in ages. Robin ordered a fruit and yogurt parfait topped with diced apples, gluten free granola, and fresh cherries, along with a side of perfectly roasted breakfast potatoes, and as his main dish he selected a chickpea crêpe filled with Dungeness crab, fresh produce, and roasted peppers, covered in a delicious orange sauce, with two poached eggs and micro greens on top.
Everything was positively delectable, and they were tremendously accommodating of my gluten allergy and our pescatarian diet. I will absolutely be back to try their other meals on our next visit, which is so exciting, because their menu reflects seasonally available ingredients, and changes regularly, meaning that they’re always cooking up something new, fresh, and local. I absolutely love places that mix up their menus, because it means we can keep going back time after time and trying out their newest creations.

Whether you’re staying at Lotte Hotel Seattle, you’re a local in the mood for some fantastic food and views, or just visiting the city in search of an excellent meal, Charlotte Restaurant and Lounge will be your new favorite place to eat in Seattle.

Hi Annie my name is Amber and I’m so excited to see that you’ve been exploring my hometown Seattle! I know this is sort of random if you’re still here would you like to hang out with me? I can show you around the city and share all of my favorite spots and photo locations with you. I know we don’t know each other but I’ve been following your travels and adventures for a few years so I feel like we know each other. We can Skype or something before hand so you know I’m not a stalker and am a real woman (and a huge fan) lol. If you aren’t comfortable its okay. Your basically famous so I know you can’t hang out with everyone who asks but I’d really love to meet you if possible that would make my day. If you’re not able to meet up do you think you’d ever do a meet up? I’d love to see you someday you really inspire me to travel and enjoy my surroundings to the fullest. My email is in this form and I turned on notifications for this post so let me know if you want to get together sometime. Lets meet you soon!
