Bottega Louie is the cutest little French Pattiserrie in downtown Los Angeles, California, which also serves up delightful small plate Italian fare. Its marble floors, high ceilings, gold accents, and abundance of French coffees, confections, and pastries make this such a dreamy place to have breakfast, lunch, brunch or even dinner.
The Patisserie at Bottega Louie is famous for their authentic, and delicious French macaroons. They have just about every flavor imaginable like Earl Grey Tea, Rose, Mango, Coconut, Pistachio, Espresso, and many others. They also sell freshly crafted donuts, pastries, and handmade chocolates and candies. If you’re looking for something a bit more substantial, they also have a full menu with numerous options for all diets and preferences. We enjoyed the gluten free salmon eggs Benedict with mixed greens, and the Brussel sprout salad. Some of their most popular items are their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Avocado Toast, and the Bottega Louie French Toast.
If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend popping in for some delicious small plates, snacks on the go, or even a full meal! It’s a great spot to meet up with friends, have a lovely meal in a fun and peaceful setting, or just a great spot to grab a few souvenirs for the road home, like a box of 45 macarons, a travel mug, or a book of their famous chocolate bars to give to loved ones.
Ps. They’re opening another location over in West Hollywood in 2019, and I can’t wait to visit it on my next trip to the Los Angeles area! Check out my guide to WeHo here!
Farewell, fellow adventurers!
