Milktooth was a fantastic brunch spot we visited during our most recent trip to Indianapolis. We visit the area frequently for work, and I am counting down the days until the next time I get to enjoy a fantastic meal at Milktooth, because everything was so fresh, flavorful, and unique. Milktooth was named one of the 10 Best New Restaurants in the United States by Bon Apetit Magazine, and has been gaining worldwide recognition ever since.
The business model of Milktooth is a bit unusual, in that they open for coffee and pastries from 7am – 9am and then they begin full service at 9am. It’s not uncommon to find guests lingering with friends and loved ones from 7 until the full service begins, so be sure to get there early to secure a table, savor their house made pastries and incredible coffee concoctions, and be first to be served when full service begins.
We savored the Cranberry Walnut with Gouda & Raclette Grilled Cheese featuring black truffle honey, and a local sunny duck egg, as well as the Fried Swiss Cheese Polenta Cake with Sunny Egg on top of horseradish sauce, pickled apple, and celery, cashew, pesto. They both were absolutely phenomenal and our only regret was that we were too full to order anything else to eat. I enjoyed a bittersweet black iced coffee, and my husband sipped on a dreamsicle mimosa, which was positively divine.
I can’t recommend Milktooth enough and I know it will be one of the first places we head to during our next adventure in Indianapolis, along with Garden Table and Tinker Street. There is SO much fantastic food in Indy, and I can’t wait to share more of what we did while in this awesome city with all of you soon!

Until next time!
