Luxury Hotels of the World: Titanic Chaussee Berlin

During our 4 days in Berlin, we stayed at Titanic Chaussee Berlin  for our last evening due to its proximity to the Berlin train station, impressive 2-story gym and luxurious spa center. The staff were very kind, the hotel itself was absolutely lovely, with interesting art, modern light fixtures, a French bakery right in the lobby, a delightful Italian restaurant, and stunning decor. I loved the bold copper and weathered copper color combination of the hotel’s decor. One of my favorite things about this hotel was how quiet and peaceful it was. Despite being partially full of other guests from all around the world, the hotel was very quiet, and when inside our room we couldn’t hear anyone else, nor the noise outside.

Our room was only about 300 sq ft., but everything was optimized for convenience, and the 800 thread count sheets, organic toiletries, and rain ceiling shower more than made up for small room size. My husband and I really enjoyed using the sprawling spa and gym facilities. As is typical in ta German-style spa, there were a number of different saunas, wet baths, and steam rooms, as well as a large pool, and areas to receive spa services such as massages, stretches, and facials. I wasn’t allowed to take photos of the spa area, because there were other people in the spa and it’s considered extremely rude to photograph people while they’re relaxing, but there was a massive swimming pool under a glass ceiling filled with pillars that we swam around, and enjoyed floating in. The locker rooms and changing rooms were beautiful, and decorated in floor to ceiling marble, with copper and monogrammed accents, there were ample cotton and silk towels and organic toiletries, and they had essential oils diffusing into the air which made the atmosphere very peaceful and relaxing.

The staff of Titanic Chaussee Berlin, once they found out we had been traveling most of the day from Italy and would be leaving for Frankfurt at 3:30am the following day, took our bags from us, scheduled a cab to pick us up in the morning and bring us to the train station, told us someone would call to wake us to ensure we didn’t miss our train, and arranged to have someone meet us outside our room in the morning to carry our bags. They then had a snack and bottle of wine sent to our room, which they didn’t charge us for. They spoke English, Italian, French, and a few other languages, but I wanted to practice my German and spoke mainly that with the staff, and they seemed appreciative and were all very fun to talk with about local attractions, and what they recommended doing in the area.

The location of Titanic Chaussee Berlin was excellent, and was near the modern art museum Hamburger Bahnhof, the train station, a number of excellent restaurants and great shopping. They had a driver on call to take us anywhere we needed to go, like the markets, museums, or historical sites, which made our stay even more convenient.

Everything here was extremely clean, efficient, and peaceful, and we felt as though we didn’t have to lift a finger while we were here. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, because we were very well taken care of, and no detail was spared here.

Während unserer 4 Tage in Berlin, waren wir in der Titanic Chaussee Berlin für unseren letzten Abend wegen seiner Nähe zum Berliner Bahnhof, dem beeindruckenden zweistöckigen Fitnessraum und dem luxuriösen Spa-Center. Die Angestellten waren sehr nett, das Hotel selbst war absolut reizend, mit interessanter Kunst, modernen Lampen, einer französischen Bäckerei direkt in der Lobby, einem entzückenden italienischen Restaurant und einer atemberaubenden Einrichtung. Ich liebte die kühne kupferfarbene und verwitterte kupferfarbene Kombination der Hoteleinrichtung. Eines meiner Lieblingshotels an diesem Hotel war, wie ruhig und friedlich es war. Obwohl es teilweise voll mit anderen Gästen aus der ganzen Welt war, war das Hotel sehr ruhig, und wenn wir in unserem Zimmer waren, konnten wir niemanden sonst hören, noch den Lärm draußen.

Unser Zimmer war nur ca. 100 m² groß, aber alles war für den Komfort optimiert, und die 800 Laken, Bio-Toilettenartikel und Regendecke Dusche mehr als entsprach für kleine Zimmergröße. Mein Mann und ich genossen die weitläufigen Spa und Fitnesseinrichtungen. Wie es typisch für einen Spa im deutschen Stil ist, gab es eine Reihe von verschiedenen Saunen, Nassbädern und Dampfbädern, sowie einen großen Pool und Bereiche für Wellnessanwendungen wie Massagen, Dehnungen und Gesichtsbehandlungen. Ich durfte keine Fotos vom Spa-Bereich machen, weil es andere Leute im Spa gab und es als extrem unhöflich gilt, Leute zu fotografieren, während sie sich entspannen, aber es gab ein riesiges Schwimmbad unter einer gläsernen Decke voller Säulen wir schwammen herum und genossen es, hereinzuschwimmen. Die Umkleideräume und Umkleidekabinen waren wunderschön und mit raumhohem Marmor dekoriert, mit kupfernen und monogrammierten Akzenten, es gab reichlich Baumwoll- und Seidenhandtücher und organische Toilettenartikel, in die ätherische Öle hineindiffundierten die Luft, die die Atmosphäre sehr friedlich und entspannend machte.

Als die Mitarbeiter der Titanic Chaussee Berlin herausfanden, dass wir den größten Teil des Tages von Italien aus gereist waren und am nächsten Tag um 3:30 Uhr nach Frankfurt aufbrachen, nahmen wir unsere Koffer ab und planten ein Taxi, um uns in der Morgen und bringen uns zum Bahnhof, sagte uns jemand würde anrufen, um uns zu wecken, um sicherzustellen, dass wir unseren Zug nicht verpassen, und arrangiert, jemanden treffen uns außerhalb unseres Zimmers am Morgen, um unsere Taschen zu tragen. Sie haben dann einen Snack und eine Flasche Wein in unser Zimmer geschickt, die sie uns nicht berechnet haben. Sie sprachen Englisch, Italienisch, Französisch und ein paar andere Sprachen, aber ich wollte mein Deutsch üben und sprach hauptsächlich mit den Angestellten, und sie schienen dankbar zu sein und es machte allen Spaß mit lokalen Attraktionen zu reden und was sie empfahlen in der Gegend.

Die Lage des Hotels war exzellent und war in der Nähe des modernen Kunstmuseums Hamburger Bahnhof, des Bahnhofs, einer Reihe von ausgezeichneten Restaurants und tollen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Sie hatten einen Fahrer auf Abruf, der uns überall hin brachte, wo wir hin mussten, wie die Märkte, Museen oder historischen Stätten, die unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machten.

Alles hier war sehr sauber, effizient und friedlich, und wir hatten das Gefühl, wir müssten keinen Finger rühren, während wir hier waren. Ich kann das Hotel jedem empfehlen, der die Gegend besucht, weil wir sehr gut betreut wurden, und kein Detail wurde hier verschont.
