In my Luxury Travel Guide to Chicago, you saw that we stayed in one of the most incredible hotels in Chicago, The Radisson Blu Aqua. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Everything from our 545 sq ft. Park Suite rooms and the view from our room to the location of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff were just incredible. I loved our hotel so much that I was excited to get back each night and explore more of the Radisson. The hotel was decorated luxuriously and had a number of interesting art installations, as well as an entire art gallery within the hotel. The Radisson Blu Aqua has won numerous awards for its hospitality and architectural design, and I could see why within the first 10 minutes of our stay.
With a number of dining options such as the Executive Breakfast, Filini Bar & Restaurant within the Radisson, and room service options, plus its proximity to other great places to eat in Chicago like Giordano’s Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza right around the corner, there’s something for everyone to enjoy here. The location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do that weekend, and we were able to easily walk the city from this centrally located hotel. The Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago was the perfect jumping off point for the rest of our Chicago adventures, and it made for a wonderful place to come back and relax after a long day of exploring the city. We loved taking a bubble bath in the large, deep bathtub in our room, or soaking in the hot tub in the pool area, and despite walking 25,000+ steps each day, we never woke up sore during our stay.

While the Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago considers itself “upper upscale”, I consider this a luxury hotel because during our entire stay we didn’t need to lift a finger, and staff were always right there to help us with directions, ordering food, planning our days, or just to say “good morning”. I think people are what take a hotel from upscale to luxury, and the Radisson Blu aqua has some of the best hotel staff in the country. If you’re looking for a safe, convenient, and beautiful hotel to stay in during your time in Chicago, I can’t recommend the Radisson Blu Aqua enough.
