This Lost + Wander dress combines so many of my favorite elements in a dress, ruffles, smocking, hemstitching, floral patterns, and a blue and white color palette. My first foray into the Lost + Wander brand, after trying this dress on, I hadn’t even taken the tags off before I went to my laptop and picked out a few more pieces from their collection.
Not only is this dress lightweight and versatile for spring, but it’s also such an easy piece to wear, because it’s an entire outfit by itself. It doesn’t need other jewelry, and it doesn’t need any other accessories like other simpler pieces I own, so it’s perfect for days when I just want to pop something on and head out the door. I love that the smocked fabric bodice is so flattering and effortlessly elevates the dress.
If there’s a more classic color combination than blue and white, especially in such a bold shade of blue as this piece, I haven’t seen it yet. This is something I’ve been wearing often this spring, and I think it’s a dress I’ll reach for often in the coming months.
