Set your clocks and mark your calendars for January 5-6th, 2023, from 8 am EST on Thursday, January 5th to Friday, January 6th at 11:59 pm EST. Every category Lilly normally sells, from baby & girl’s and women’s to accessories, swim, and shoes, will be included. Read on to find out which prints will be included, how much things will cost, and more based on the preview my friends over at Lilly Pulitzer sent me to share with you!

Lilly Pulitzer Sunshine Sale FAQ & Advice
I’ve shopped this twice-a-year sale every single year for more than a decade, so I have some great advice to pass along. This is such a great way to stock up on Lilly basics, brighten up your closet, prepare for spring break and warmer weather, and round out your collection. Plus, it’s a fun time to try new styles at a discount! If you still have questions, please ask them below!

Sale Basics
Q: How do I access the sale?
A: Click here to be taken directly to it!
Q: Is the sale in store too?
A: No! This is exclusively online!
Q: Can I shop on my tablet or phone?
A: Yes! Download the Lilly Pulitzer app and set up your shipping and payment information to expedite check-out.
Q: Once I put an item in my cart, is it guaranteed to be mine?
A: No. Items might sell out and vanish from your cart before you can check out. Only once your order is placed are you guaranteed your item(s).
Q: How does the electronic queue work?
A: To prevent their website from crashing, Lilly only allows so many people into their sale at one time. So, the rest are placed in a queue. Join early (click here) to get in line first. Don’t worry; even if it says there are thousands or tens of thousands of people ahead of you, you’ll still get in quickly! I’ve never had to wait more than 30 minutes and I’ve never missed out on my favorite pieces at a great discount!

What’s Included in the Sale
Q: Which prints will be in the sale?
A: See above for a small sampling of the colors and prints that will be included in the sale. Many, many more will be included, included pop-up prints and we may even see some older prints too! It all depends on what the Lilly team has lying around. It’s like a treasure hunt!
Q: Are luxletic pieces, bags, dresses, skirts, and shoes included in the sale?
A: Yes! Everything Lilly normally sells will be included in the sale, including baby, swim, and gifts!
Q: Will sample items be included in the sale?
A: There was quite a stir a few years back when sample itemss (items not made en masse) were included in the sale. It hasn’t happened in several sales, but there’s always the possiblity that they might again!
Q: Which sale is bigger, the January sale or the Septemeber summer sale?
A: While the summer sale always has more of a selection, the January sale tends to have cheaper prices AND leftovers from the summer sale too! It’s a great way to stock up ahead of spring & summer while saving!

Sizing
Q: How is Lilly’s sizing?
A: I wear my normal size (XS/S & 4) in Lilly Pulitzer clothing. Read the reviews for a better idea on which pieces might run more generously than others. Overall, I find their sizing to be very consistent, so you should be able to purchase your normal size.
Q: What if my size is unavailable or it sells out?
A: Once items are gone, they’re gone! So, if you see something you love – snag it!
Q: How can I find items that are available in my size?
A: Filter using the left side sidebar to sort items available in your size!
Q: Will items be restocked or new items added the second day?
A: Based on the preview they sent me and that some items say “DAY 2 Drop”, yes, new items WILL be added the second morning! When they’ve done this in the past, it’s happened around 8 am EST.
Q: What if I buy something that doesn’t fit me?
A: All sales are final, so they will not accept returns, BUT you can join my Lilly Pulitzer: Dressed to Impress Facebook Group where you can swap sizes, sell things that don’t work for you, and score things you may have missed in the sale! With more than 43,000 members, you’re bound to find someone to swap with, sell to, or buy from!

Payment & Shipping
Q: Can I use promo codes or gift cards during the sale?
A: Gift cards yes, promo codes, no.
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: They say it may take up to 4-6 week, but I usually receive my orders within a week! The Lilly Pulitzer team does an amazing job of getting orders together quickly and accurately!
Q: How much is shipping?
A: Shipping is free for orders more than $25, or $5 for orders less than $25.
Where Else Can I Shop the Lilly Pulitzer Sunshine Sale?
Once it goes live at 8 am EST, the main place to shop the sale is the Lilly Pulitzer website. You may also be able to shop the sale in several places before the main sale goes live, as listed below. This does change from year to year, so be sure to check all of them frequently!
